The Walther PPS is one of the best possible handguns available on the market for carrying concealed. The slim frame and compact size make it easily concealable and lightweight, to give you the best possible comfort while carrying but still giving you a gun large enough to shoot comfortably. The lack of external safeties cuts down on the surfaces that can snag while drawing the pistol, while also minimizing the time it takes to get the gun up and firing. The trigger

Walther Pps Capacity

The Walther PPS is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger, NATO) and feeds from a single-stack magazine.  These guns typically ship with 3 magazines that include a flush-fit 6 round mag, a 7 round one that sticks out just enough to fit your pinky finger, and an 8 round one that gives a comfortable, full grip.

Walther Pps Feature

The Walther PPS is a polymer-framed, semi-automatic pistol that operates on a Browning-style short recoil action with a 3.2 inch tilting barrel.  This pistol was designed for comfortable concealment while still providing a pleasant range experience for the user.  This pistol is topped with windage-adjustable sights and the frame has a section of picatinny rail for mounting lasers and weapon lights.

Walther Pps Ergonomics

The slide has deep grip serrations that allow for a firm hold when manually cycling the action, and the ambidextrous magazine release flanks the trigger guard allowing for easy left- or right-handed use.  Instead of a button, Walther opted for a lever-style mag release.  The grip includes finger grooves that accommodate two fingers and the back of the grip has replaceable backstraps allowing the user to fit the gun to their hand.

Walther Pps Concealability

The Walther PPS easily tucks away inside the belt if you’re using a decent holster.  Its thin cross section and short overall height help prevent the gun from protruding through clothing and the simple grip ergonomics prevent discomfort.  The 6 round magazines sit flush with the bottom of the grip allowing for the most effective concealment while the 7 round mag hides well while providing a full-handed grip thanks to its extended and slanted floorplate.

Walther Pps Fit-N-Finish

The PPS suffered from a poor trigger pull which led to this gun being discontinued by Walther.  The PPS M2 series offers better ergonomics with a much more tolerable trigger pull.  Both, however, are built with hardened carbon steel barrels and slides on a very durable polymer frame.  The steel components are blued, so keep them oiled to keep them from rusting.  If you carry this gun, be sure to re-apply oil on sweaty days.
