These extended magazine boxes are built to allow longer bullet seating, and thus a longer than standard overall cartridge length. A window and break-point are also incorporated for use with wider cartridge case bodies, such as those used for the various Ultra Magnums. Installation requires alterations to the receiver, bolt stop and ejection port.
