This Vltor VC-301 Extended Flash Hider is threaded 5/8"24 and features an A1 Birdcage-style design that has proven to be very effective at mitigating a rifle's flash signature upon firing. The VC-301 Flash Hider is compatible with 30 caliber projectiles and smaller, making it perfect for use with an AR-10, DPMS LR-308, or other 308-based platform, as well as AR-15 type rifles with the proper muzzle thread pitch and chambered for 6.8mm Rem SPC, 6.5mm Grendel, or 300 AAC Blackout. The VC-301's Extended Length brings a 14.5" Barrel to the Legal Minimum 16" length when installed. Includes a crush washer and is protected by an attractive, durable matte black Parkerized finish.
