Matthew, partially Sir. The manual safety is an extended and ambidextrous design but the slide release is left side only. The magazine release is a standard 1911 release. The grip safety works for both left or right folk\'s.

Matthew - As this model comes with the ambi safety, it is about as 'lefty' as 1911s get without a lot of customizing. Many, many shooters shoot these pistols regularly, and have no problem with the controls. After you run a few magazines through it, I am

Matthew, This firearm has Ambidextrous Safety lever. Slide lock/release in not interchangeable to left hand use.
