Mark, yes the fsb is set with 2 taper pins though grooves on the bottom of the barrel.

Yep, Mark, it is pinned in a fashion similar to a regular 'front post' sight. They can be a bear to remove sometimes. I had to cut off one once, but didn't mater as I was installing a new one anyway. Most will come off if properly supported, and a little
