Walther Ppq M1 Capacity
The Walther PPQ is chambered in 9mm Parabellum (9mm Luger, 9x19mm NATO) and feeds from the same magazines as the Walther P99. This gives the PPQ a standard magazine capacity of 15 rounds with lower-capacity 10 round mags also being available for users that live in states with magazine capacity restrictions.
Walther Ppq M1 Feature
The Walther PPQ M1 is a polymer-framed, semi-automatic striker-fired pistol that operates on a short-recoil action with a 4 inch tilting barrel. The slide is topped with a windage-adjustable rear sight and the frame includes an accessory rail for mounting a laser or weapon light if the task requires it. Where this gun excels is in its reliability as well as its ergonomics.
Walther Ppq M1 Ergonomics
The PPQ has a very ergonomic grip that includes a modular backstrap allowing you to fit the gun to your hand, and its texturing provides a very solid grip without being abrasive. All of the controls are ambidextrous including the slide release and the magazine release which sits along the bottom of the trigger guard and operates on a tilt-down design. The slide includes front and rear serrations to provide plenty of grip when manually cycling the action.
Walther Ppq M1 Concealability
The Walther PPQ M1 is a full-size handgun so concealment is only feasible with heavier or more loose clothing choices. This gun is most easily packed in an open-carry setup such as a duty belt or competition holster due to its size and intended role as a police service pistol.
Walther Ppq M1 Fit-N-Finish
The PPQ has a very Glock-esque disassembly method and has a slide and barrel that are coated with an incredibly wear- and rust-resistant finish. Cleaning this gun involves a liberal use of Q-tips, though disassembly is very easy. As far as the trigger goes, the pull is much more crisp than a Glock which many people enjoy as the break doesn’t lead to such wide groups on target.
