Walther Ppk/S Capacity
The Walther PPK/S is available in .22LR, .32 Auto, and .380 ACP and feeds from single-stack magazines. In .22LR, the magazines hold 10 rounds. The magazines hold 8 rounds when chambered for .32 Auto, and in .380 ACP the magazines hold 7 rounds. The PPK/S is not built to handle any +P loads, though it has no trouble cycling hollow point ammo.
Walther Ppk/S Feature
The PPK/S is an export version of the venerable Walther PPK used by German special police. Some extra weight was added to the gun to allow it to be imported into the United States after the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA) added a weight requirement for imported pistols. It has a 3.9 inch barrel and operates on a direct-blowback action.
Walther Ppk/S Ergonomics
The PPK/S is a small gun by every metric, though it does provide a full-handed grip for most users thanks to its extended floor plate on the magazine. The magazine release is located on the right side of the frame behind and above the trigger, and the slide-mounted safety is easily reached by the user’s thumb.
Walther Ppk/S Concealability
Measuring 6.6 inches long, 4.2 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide, the PPK/S is easily concealed in almost any attire and in almost any position. The only downside to concealing the Bersa is the grip tang and exposed hammer which can potentially cause discomfort when appendix carrying.
Walther Ppk/S Fit-N-Finish
As is the case with the majority of German firearms, the Walther PPK/S is over-engineered with every surface honed to increase reliability, accuracy, durability and looks. The trigger pull in any Walther PP pistol is incredibly smooth in double-action (if maintained) and the single-action trigger pull is light and crisp.
