Taurus Tracker M992 Capacity
The M922 Tracker has a .22 caliber bore and comes with two easily-swapped cylinders, both holding 9 rounds. One cylinder is chambered for .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 Magnum, .22 WMR) while the other cylinder accepts .22LR and .22 Short cartridges. The cylinders are swapped by flipping the cylinder out then pressing the release button in front of the trigger and popping the cylinder assembly out of the frame. The new cylinder goes in in its place.
Taurus Tracker M992 Feature
The Taurus Tracker M992 is a target-style revolver made right here in the United States. It has a 4 inch barrel paired with sights that are both windage and elevation adjustable and is fired either by a single- or double-action trigger pull. This revolver has replaceable cylinders making it a multi-caliber gun that you can use for target shooting and small game hunting.
Taurus Tracker M992 Ergonomics
The M992 Tracker is available with one of two grips. One is the classic ribbed grip that is commonly found on the Taurus Judge that provides a soft and very grippy hold while the other grip is a G10 Hogue style with improved contours and finger grooves. The controls between the two are identical and are very typical for a modern revolver.
Taurus Tracker M992 Concealability
Measuring over 9 inches long with a height exceeding 5 inches, the M992 Tracker is far too large to effectively carry concealed. As it is a target and small game revolver, its intended setup would be in a holster designed for open carry.
Taurus Tracker M992 Fit-N-Finish
The Tracker is available with a blued finish or with a matte stainless steel finish. The side plate closely matches up to the frame, and the cylinder lockup remains fairly consistent as the gun is used. The front and rear sights are made of blued steel so make sure you apply oil to them often to avoid rust.
