The Taurus 942 is chambered in either .22LR or .22WMR (.22 Magnum) and has an 8 round cylinder.
Taurus 942 Feature
The Taurus 942 is available with a 2 or 3 inch barrel topped with windage-adjustable iron sights. Its trigger allows the user to fire the gun from either single-action or double-action. This revolver employs a transfer bar safety to ensure the gun can only fire when the trigger is pulled.
Taurus 942 Ergonomics
The Taurus 942 is built with a polymer grip that is contoured for comfort and textured in a way that gives plenty of grip without causing discomfort when carrying inside the waistband. The back of the grip curves upwards to better fill the hand on a grip that is only large enough to accommodate the user’s middle and ring fingers.

The Taurus 942 measures 6.6 inches long and 4.6 inches tall making it very easy to conceal in any attire with the right holster. It can easily be carried in a jacket pocket or handbag as well.

The Taurus 942 is available in matte black or stainless steel finishes while its grips are black on both options. The stainless steel versions deliver a satin finish and are resistant to weather damage while the black versions are made of alloy steel and sport a blued finish.
