The Smith & Wesson SD9VE is a polymer-framed 9mm pistol that has a 16 round magazine. It has a 4 inch barrel and a stainless steel slide with front and rear slide serrations and windage-adjustable sights. An accessory rail sits on the front of the frame to accept lights and lasers.
Smith & Wesson Sd9Ve Ergonomics
The S&W SD9VE offers a grip with contours designed to be comfortable for all users while the texturing along the grip offers extra control. This striker-fired pistol has a trigger that is much heavier than its competition with a trigger weight around ten pounds. The deep slide serrations offer a better grip on the slide as you cycle the action and the trigger safety is properly manufactured to comfortably match up to the trigger when firing.
Smith & Wesson Sd9Ve Concealability
The Smith & Wesson SD9VE is very similar in size to the Glock 19, and is very easy to carry concealed with the proper attire. Its rounded edges help prevent clothing from catching on the gun and impeding your draw.
Smith & Wesson Sd9Ve Fit-N-Finish
The Smith & Wesson SD9VE is made with a stainless steel slide and polymer frame. The slide has a uniform surface finish and deep slide serrations, both giving the user plenty of grip when manipulating the slide. The polymer frame is sturdy, though the surface finish tends to have an oily and bumpy look. Disassembly of the SD9VE is nearly identical to the Glock pistol.
