First introduced in 1964 and now offered through the companys Classics line the Smith Wesson Model 57 is a double-action revolver chambered in 41 Rem Mag. Built on a large carbon steel N-frame it features a 6-round capacity a target trigger and hammer oversized checkered wood grip and red insert front and white outline adjustable rear sights. Though originally manufactured with law enforcement in mind the Model 57 has proven to be a popular high-caliber revolver among target shooters handgun enthusiasts and hunters.
