See DealThe SIG MPX is a gas-operated submachine gun designed and manufactured by SIG Sauer, and is primarily chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge. It is a gas-operated firearm featuring a closed, rotating bolt.[1] These design features, rare in submachine guns, were chosen to enhance the safety of the user and to have a more reliable firearm. It was designed in 2013 and was released to the general public in 2015. It features the SIG Sauer short stroke push-rod gas system to reduce the

recoil and improve the reliability of the weapon. The MPX, in its second generation, features a system that would allow for conversion from 9mm to .357 SIG or .40 S&W. However, since its inception, first party conversion kits have not been made available for either of the two production generations of the gun.SIG Sauer MPX For Sale

Sig Sauer Mpx Capacity
The MPX is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum and feeds from steel-reinforced polymer magazines made by Lancer Systems. While the standard magazine capacity is the typical 30 rounds, Lancer also makes magazines with capacities of 10, 20 and even 35 rounds. Aftermarket magazine manufacturers also offer a 50 round drum magazine for the MPX.
Sig Sauer Mpx Feature
The SIG Sauer MPX is available as a pistol, submachine gun or pistol caliber carbine and is a gas-operated gun that operates on a short-stroke gas piston and multi-lug rotating bolt. The recoil system includes a dual-recoil spring that sits over the bolt carrier group to eliminate the need for a buffer tube allowing for a wide variety of stocks to be attached on the rear-mounted picatinny rail.
Sig Sauer Mpx Ergonomics
The MPX has a control layout based on the AR15 with the improvements of an ambidextrous safety, charging handle and magazine release. The grip that comes with the MPX is more ergonomic than the A2 style grip found on most ARs. The MPX is available with a variety of handguard options thanks to the gun’s modularity.
Sig Sauer Mpx Mobility
Measuring as little as 17.6 inches with an unloaded weight of 6.1 pounds, and with an overall length of 24 inches when a stock is extended, the MPX offers excellent maneuverability in all environments. Considering its low recoil, the MPX surpasses its competition in ease of use as well as mobility. The MPX’ modularity also allows the gun to be even smaller with different barrels and handguards attached.
Sig Sauer Mpx Fit-N-Finish
The MPX is made with receivers cut from billets of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum, the bolt is made of C158 steel and the bolt carrier is made from 8620 steel just as Eugene Stoner intended. The MPX’s modularity includes a quick-detach barrel system that includes 2 screws to be removed that are hidden by the handguard. The stocks can easily be swapped out for an ever-growing number of aftermarket options.
