Savage Arms 220 Capacity
The Savage Arms 220 is a bolt-action shotgun chambered in 20ga and can chamber both 2.75 and 3 inch shells. It comes with a 2-round detachable box magazine. Note: The Savage Arms 220 comes with a rifled barrel, so only run sabot slugs through it as rifled slugs and shot loads can damage the barrel.
Savage Arms 220 Feature
The Savage 220 is a bolt-action 20-gauge shotgun that has a rifled barrel and uses a 2-round detachable box magazine. Thanks to its inclusion of Savage’s Accu-trigger, this shotgun allows unparalleled accuracy for the user.
Savage Arms 220 Ergonomics
The Savage 220 employs a composite stock with a Monte-Carlo profile which helps keep the weight to a minimum while offering the highest levels of comfort and familiar ergonomics. The bolt handle sits directly over the trigger for an easy transition when loading a new round into the chamber.
Savage Arms 220 Mobility
The Savage 220 measures 43 inches long and weighs 8 pounds, both of which are rather on par for hunting shotguns. Its size and weight, along with its lack of protruding features, allow this gun to be rather easy to carry through any terrain without snagging on dense vegetation and other objects.
Savage Arms 220 Fit-N-Finish
The Savage 220 is often sold with a composite stock, though laminate wood stocks are available on some models. The metal components are either blued to a matte black finish or are available with a matte stainless steel finish.
