This is a side-by-side double-barreled shotgun styled in the traditional manner. It is designed for a wide variety of gauges and four barrel lengths. The Saba uses an improved Anson & Deeley lock, and the breech is made from chrome-nickel steel which has been tempered at high temperatures after engraving. lined with a layer of hard chrome. The stock and fore-end are of select walnut root. The Saba may have a single selective trigger or a double trigger. The Saba has shell extractors instead of ejectors. A special variant of the Saba is the Saba Slug; it has a short 24 3/8-inch barrel and is designed for large game, with a barrel designed for slugs, sabots, or coarse shot. (Buckshot is not recommended, as it may cause excessive barrel wear.) The Saba Slug has a raised front sight and a sloping barrel rib with a folding rear leaf sight.
