Ruger Single-Nine Capacity
The Ruger Single-Nine is chambered in .22WMR (.22 Magnum) and has a 9 round cylinder. Rounds are loaded into the cylinder through a fold-down side loading gate on the right side of the frame, and rounds are ejected from the cylinder through the same gate with the use of a manually operated ejector rod.
Ruger Single-Nine Feature
The Ruger SIngle-Nine is a single-action .22WMR caliber 9-shot revolver designed for target shooting and small game dispatching. It is built with a 6.5 inch barrel to take advantage of the .22 Magnum’s muzzle velocity and is topped with fully-adjustable target sights.
Ruger Single-Nine Ergonomics
The Ruger Single-Nine has identical ergonomics to the traditional style revolvers based on the Colt Single-Action Army revolver. Thanks to its small caliber, this wheelgun is far less front-heavy than larger-caliber guns which also makes it more comfortable to hold when blasting soda cans in the back yard.
Ruger Single-Nine Concealability
The Ruger Single-Nine measures 12 inches long and approximately 6 inches tall making it nearly impossible to conceal, even in a shoulder holster. The best way to carry this revolver would be in a leather holster along the belt like a proper cowboy.
Ruger Single-Nine Fit-N-Finish
The Ruger Single-Nine makes heavy use of stainless steel. All steel components beautifully display a matte brushed finish to make it impervious to damage from moisture and humidity. The target sights include fiber-optic rods for accurate shots in low-light environments, and the trigger is as crisp and well-machined as all Ruger revolvers.
