Ruger Sr9 Capacity
The Ruger SR9 ships with 10 and 17 round double-stack, single-feed steel magazines. Aftermarket magazine manufacturers offer box magazines with a 32 round capacity and drum magazines holding 50 rounds.
Ruger Sr9 Feature
The Ruger SR9 is a polymer-framed, semi-automatic 9mm pistol with a standard magazine capacity of 17 rounds. It has an ambidextrous magazine release and thumb safety and fully-adjustable sights. An accessory rail sits along the front of the frame to attach lasers and weapon lights, and the grip texturing ensures proper control during firing.
Ruger Sr9 Ergonomics
The Ruger SR9 has a full-size slide and frame giving the user plenty of surface area to control the pistol when firing, and the texturing provides extra grip. The ambidextrous magazine release allows users to eject magazines the traditional way with their thumb or with their middle finger. The sights are incredibly easy to adjust and the safety is properly sized so it won’t accidentally get shifted.
Ruger Sr9 Concealability
The Ruger SR9 measures in at 7.5 inches long and 5.5 inches tall. Between its size and sharper geometry, concealment of the SR9 would be difficult without heavy clothing and can easily be uncomfortable to the user. Due to the size, the Ruger SR9 would be most easily carried outside of the belt in an open-carry setting.
Ruger Sr9 Fit-N-Finish
The Ruger SR9 has many different options for iron sights as well as frame and slide colors. The slides are available in stainless steel and black finishes and are made of extremely hard metal which gives the SR9 incredible durability.
