Ruger Sr40 Capacity
The Ruger SR40 is chambered in .40S&W and has a standard magazine capacity of 15 rounds. 10 round magazines are available in states with unconstitutional magazine restrictions, and 25 round magazines are available through aftermarket magazine suppliers.
Ruger Sr40 Feature
The Ruger SR40 has a full-size grip housing a magazine with a 15 round capacity. This polymer-framed pistol has a steel slide with a 4.1 inch barrel and windage-adjustable sights. The frame also has an accessory rail for mounting lasers and weapon lights and a striker-fired trigger.
Ruger Sr40 Ergonomics
The SR40 has a long but thin grip that is checkered along all four sides which allows for plenty of comfortable control. Both the safety and magazine release are ambidextrous, though the slide stop is only on the left side. The slide serrations add positive control when manually cycling the slide.
Ruger Sr40 Concealability
The SR40 is a full-sized pistol so concealment will be difficult without the right holster and attire. Its thinner cross-section helps prevent the gun from printing through clothing.
Ruger Sr40 Fit-N-Finish
The SR40 is built on a polymer frame that is very resistant to scratches and wear, and its steel slide (available in black or stainless steel) is incredibly hard and very resistant to damage from weather and wear.
