Ballistic Stats
The Ruger Precision Rifle has a proprietary Pre-Fit barrel system. Pre-chambered "Drop-In Ready" barrels can be purchased, and the correct headspace is set using a proprietary barrel nut design. The barrel is threaded to fit the Ruger action threads. This way, a competent gunsmith can fit a new barrel exchange a worn barrel with a new one by only using an AR-15 barrel wrench and proper headspace gauges. This eliminates the need for machining by the gunsmith as with traditional barrel mounting

Ruger Precision Rifle Capacity
The Ruger Precision Rifle accepts all AR10 pattern magazines for both the .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor versions, giving the user magazine capacities of 10, 20, and 15 rounds.
Ruger Precision Rifle Feature
The Ruger Precision Rifle is chambered in .308 or in 6.5 Creedmoor. It comes with either a 20 or 26 inch barrel surrounded by a free-float handguard to promote accuracy and has a fully-adjustable stock that can fold for easier storage. This bolt action rifle is capable of accepting all AR10 pattern magazines.
Ruger Precision Rifle Ergonomics
The Ruger Precision Rifle almost feels like a bolt-action AR10 both in its weight and its control placement. The stock-to-grip distance is nearly identical to the AR10 which gives the user a very familiar feel. The oversized bolt handle gives plenty of leverage when cycling the bolt, and the safety is located similarly to the AR15 and has a 45 degree throw. The magazine release is behind the magazine and is operated akin to an M14 or AKM.
Ruger Precision Rifle Mobility
The Ruger Precision Rifle weighs over 14 pounds unloaded and without optics (estimated 16 pounds with glass and ammo) and measures as much as 47 inches long. Though the folding stock helps shorten the gun when carrying, it wouldn’t work so well as a deer rifle unless you lift, bro.
Ruger Precision Rifle Fit-N-Finish
The Ruger Precision Rifle was an absolute game changer when it hit the market. Its use of AR-pattern components allowed the end user to customize the rifle to their liking while offering sub-MOA accuracy in an affordable package.
