It comes standard with innovative features such as a custom "dead blow" tungsten weight which shortens bolt travel and simultaneously reduces both felt recoil and muzzle rise. It also has interchangeable magazine wells, one which accepts Ruger SR-Series and the new Ruger Security 9 mags, and another which accepts Glock mags. The bolt is machined from heat treated, chrome-moly steel to ensure strength, structural integrity and durability. Takedown is as simple

Ruger Pc Carbine Capacity
The Ruger PC Carbine is chambered in 9x19mm and feeds from Ruger SR9, Smith & Wesson M&P and double-stack Glock magazines depending on the adapter that is installed by the user. This gives the PCC capacities of 10, 15 and 17 rounds and also allows the user to have complete magazine compatibility between his or her long gun and sidearm, which is pretty neat.
Ruger Pc Carbine Feature
The Ruger PC Carbine is a semi-automatic pistol caliber carbine that operates on a direct-blowback action. Its 16.12 inch barrel and handguard can easily be removed for storage and some models include a threaded barrel with a ½-28UNEF-2B thread pitch allowing the users to attach a wide variety of muzzle devices. The receiver has an integrated optics rail long enough to accept the most common scopes as well as elevation-adjustable iron sights.
Ruger Pc Carbine Ergonomics
There are a number of setups available for the PC Carbine with varying stock and handguard choices that range from the traditional to the modern. On all examples, the controls are the same with a reversible charging handle, trigger guard mounted cross-bolt safety and magazine release. The traditional stock feels like a standard composite-stock rifle while the models with free-floating handguards, pistol grips and adjustable stocks feel more like modern sporting carbines.
Ruger Pc Carbine Mobility
Measuring under 35 inches long with an unloaded weight of 6.8 pounds, the Ruger PC Carbine is just as easy to carry and maneuver as a standard AR15 with a similar barrel length. Due to its ability to have its barrel removed, this handy little carbine can pretty easily be tucked into a hiking pack if you need to discreetly carry a defensive weapon out on a camping trip in order to fend off unwelcome woodland critters.
Ruger Pc Carbine Fit-N-Finish
The polymer components of the PC Carbine are made from a high-strength composite material and all aluminum parts are anodized. Steel parts are black nitride coated after being hardened to Ruger’s standards which are much higher than the industry average. These things combined give the PC Carbine incredible durability and reliability ensuring that your gun can handle harsh conditions.
