Ruger Mark Iv 22/45 Lite Capacity
The Ruger Mark IV is chambered in .22LR and feeds from single-stack 10 round magazines. These magazines have an interesting and handy feature where the follower has a knob that sticks out of the side. While this is to activate the last round bolt hold open lever, this knob can be pushed down by the user’s thumb to assist in loading up the magazines.
Ruger Mark Iv 22/45 Lite Feature
The Ruger Mark IV 22/44 Lite is a semi-automatic target pistol that operates on a direct-blowback action and fires from a single-action trigger pull. This pistol differs from other Mark IV pistols with its lightened receiver that features lightening cuts and a thin-profile 4.4 inch barrel. This gun is topped with a fiber-optic front sight and target style rear sight.
Ruger Mark Iv 22/45 Lite Ergonomics
The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite has a lower frame that is designed to mimic the feel and handling of a Colt 1911A1 and includes an ambidextrous safety lever. The charging handle for this gun can be found at the very back of the “slide” where you pinch it between to fingers and rip ‘er back and let ‘er fly. The recoil on this pistol is almost nonexistent on account of it being chambered in .22 LR.
Ruger Mark Iv 22/45 Lite Fit-N-Finish
Are you concerned about Ruger making a product that will wear out? Don’t be. Their guns are made with high-strength polymers and stainless steel that is hardened to incredible strengths. The only question you should be asking for this pistol is whether or not you’re going to buy some new grip panels. The good news there is that any aftermarket 1911 grips will fit.
