Integral scope mounts are machined directly on the steel receiver to accept Ruger scope rings (included), eliminating any chance of screwed-on bases coming loose in the field. A steel trigger guard protects the trigger in the case of a fall, and a hinged, all-steel floorplate allows hunters to unload the rifle safely without cycling cartridges through the chamber.
