M77® Ruger Compact Magnum bolt-action rifles are chambered in either .300 RCM or .338 RCM and offer the following features: Based on a shortened .375 Ruger case, the .300 and .338 Ruger Compact Magnums match the .300 and .338 Win. Solid-steel floor plate features engraved Ruger logo with "Ruger Compact Magnum" designation and patented latch for easy unloading. Red Eagle soft recoil pad helps absorb the most punishing recoil. Non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled-feed extractor, the most positive case extraction system ever invented, provides reliable performance.
