Ruger LCP Features

The LCP is a double action only pistol with fixed sights. The LCP Max model has adjustable sights.  The frame is glass-filled nylon with a steel slide. A view hole located near the extractor allows visual confirmation of a loaded chamber. The slide is stippled to provide solid grip to “rack” the slide.

Ruger LCP Capacity

The Ruger LCP standard magazine holds 10 for 22LR and 6 for .380 Auto. The LCP Max is a double stack .380 Auto with a capacity of 10. The magazine is inserted through the pistol grip and the magazine release is located on the left side of the frame, just rear of the trigger guard.

The LCP frame offers a two finger grip unless an extended magazine is used which can have a grip extension installed to allow a more secure grip. The grip is checkered to provide a comfortable and more stable grip with wet hands.

The LCP has a black frame and black slide. The color is even and smooth with the frame to slide fitment meeting Ruger’s standards. Second generation LCP’s were modified to include a shortened trigger pull and better sights.
