The Ruger American Ranch rifle is a compact, easy handling and highly accurate bolt action rifle. The rifle is sized perfectly for carry and easy access in a pickup truck or other farm vehicle. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it is also capable of firing .223 Remington and is an excellent choice for predator and varmint control. It features a threaded 16.12" cold hammer forged barrel with factory installed thread protector, ready for your suppressor or other muzzle device of choice. The tough, ergonomic synthetic stock has grip serrations for sure control. The Ruger American Ranch Rifle is chambered in .223/5.56, 7.62x39, 6.5 Grendel, 300 Blackout, .350 Legend and .450 Bushmaster and ships with a 5 round magazine.  Rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm use Ruger Mini-30 magazines while all other calibers use their respective AR15 pattern magazines.


Measuring only 6 pounds unloaded with an overall length of 36 inches, this rifle is very easy to carry over long distances and through most environments.  Its lack of protruding features will prevent it from catching on dense foliage and other objects.

The bolt handle sits right over the trigger for an easy transition, the magazine release is easily reached with the trigger finger, and the safety is located along the grip tang. The stock includes a half-pistol grip and the forend has geometry that promotes a solid hold.

Stocks are available in black, OD Green and desert tan and are made of a very sturdy and durable composite.  Its metal components left in-the-white are made of stainless steel and show off a fine surface finish while other components feature a matte-black finish.
