Ruger 10/22 Ergonomics

The Ruger 10/22 was originally designed around the stock of a US Carbine .30 caliber M1 (M1 Carbine) and continues to be sold with this classic feel.  This rifle has a reciprocating charging handle found on the right side of the bolt and has an ambidextrous AKM style magazine release found in front of the trigger guard.

Ruger 10/22 Mobility

A typical Ruger 10/22 weighs 4.4 to 5 pounds unloaded depending on the material the stock is made of and has an overall length of 37 inches.  The rifle is light enough for anyone old enough to safely handle a gun to comfortably shoot and it can easily be carried for hours while out squirrel hunting.  Its lack of sharp or protruding edges does well to prevent it getting caught on dense foliage or other objects.

Ruger 10/22 Fit-N-Finish

The Ruger 10/22 has been around for decades and thus has incredible modularity.  With tons of aftermarket support, you can modify the gun and tailor it to your heart’s desires.  Every Ruger 10/22 has a drilled and tapped receiver to allow the attachment of any optics setup you can imagine.
