Rock Island Armory TAC Ultra Capacity

The RIA TAC Ultra is chambered in 10mm Auto and feeds from proprietary double-stack, single-feed magazines.  The standard capacity is 16 rounds of “best millimeter” and magazines limited to 10 rounds are available in states with capacity restrictions.

Rock Island Armory TAC Ultra Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The RIA TAC Ultra has identical controls to the classic 1911 with the inclusion of an ambidextrous thumb safety.  This pistol has front and rear slide serrations to give the user added control when manually cycling the action.  The grip is considerably wider to accommodate the fatter double-stack magazine, and has an added mag well flare to make inserting a magazine easier.

Rock Island Armory TAC Ultra Fit & Finish

The RIA TAC Ultra is made with a steel frame and slide that both feature a black parkerized finish.  The rails mating the frame and slide are hand-fitted for the best reliability, and the grips are compatible with any aftermarket 1911 grips.

Rock Island Armory TAC Ultra Concealability

Concealability
The RIA TAC Ultra is larger than your typical 1911.  Measuring 9.25 inches long, 5.5 inches tall and 1.56 inches wide, this gun would be incredibly difficult to conceal.  The best way to conceal this gun would be in a shoulder holster, though the easiest way to carry it would be in a holster in an open-carry setup.
