Remington 870 Wingmaster Capacity

Chambered to accept 2.75 and 3 inch shells, the Remington 870 Wingmaster has a magazine capacity of 4 rounds plus 1 in the chamber for a total of 5 rounds.  To load the 870 Wingmaster, shells are loaded through the loading port directly into the magazine tube, and are loaded into the chamber by cycling the handguard.

Remington 870 Wingmaster Ergonomics

Using the same stock and receiver as the Remington 870, the Wingmaster model features very similar ergonomics in terms of grip and controls.  The Wingmaster sports a high-gloss finish on the wood furniture, a wider grip on the handguard, and a ribbed barrel to assist in blasting stuff out of the sky.

The Remington 870 Wingmaster has a long history dating back to its introduction in 1950.  Every model produced features polished bluing on the steel components and a high-gloss finish on the wood furniture, however the build quality over the years has changed.  Older models tend to show superior craftsmanship as the newer models are known to have unsightly proud wood and metal finishes that quickly rust and discolor.
