Remington M24 Capacity
The Remington M24 is chambered in 7.62x51mmNATO (.308 Winchester) and feeds from a 5-round internal magazine. Rounds are loaded directly into the magazine by pulling the bolt to the rear of travel, then rounds are inserted into the magazine one-by-one.
Remington M24 Feature
The Remington M24 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62NATO designed for the United States Army as its standard sniper rifle. It has a 24 inch barrel with 5R rifling set in a short-action Remington 700 receiver set in a composite stock. Some variants are built with a stock allowing for fine-tuning the length of pull.
Remington M24 Ergonomics
The Remington M24 is built on an Anschutz style composite stock to ensure wrist comfort for the user when they’re on the scope for long durations. The bolt handle sits directly over the trigger for an easy transition when cycling the action, and the stocks with the adjustment knobs let the user tailor the length of pull to their preferences.
Remington M24 Mobility
The Remington M24 measures 43 inches long and has an unloaded weight just shy of 12 pounds. This high weight is due to the heavier profile barrel and the glass bedding in the stock, both of which are added to ensure accuracy. While its length is very standard for bolt action rifles, the weight can easily cause fatigue if carried over long durations.
Remington M24 Fit-N-Finish
The Remington M24 is built for accuracy, durability and function. The composite stock is incredibly resistant to damage and is glass-bedded to the receiver for increased accuracy, the receiver and barrel are finished with a matte-black surface. The stock, receiver and barrel have finishes that do well to hold spray-paint to easily camouflage the gun to its intended environment.
