The Remington 870 DM Predator is a pump-action shotgun that offers superior handling over a standard tube-fed shotgun. Built with an 18.5 inch barrel, this new take on an industry standard adds a magazine well to the bottom of the gun giving it a feel more akin to a modern sporting rifle.
Remington 870 Dm Predator Ergonomics
While the 870 DM uses the same thin hole stock as Remington’s Turkey models and the same pump arm as their Police models, the difference comes from its box magazine feeding. With a mag release lever on the front of the well, users can reload 5 rounds in a matter of a few second instead of taking the better part of a minute single-feeding rounds into a fixed tube.

The 870 DM Predator has an 18.5 inch barrel which is the legal minimum for shotguns, and its stock gives it an overall length approximating 37 inches. With an unloaded weight of 7.5 pounds, this shotgun is as easy to handle as just about any standard off-the-shelf AR15, but packs a whole lot more energy on target.
