Palmetto State Armory Sabre-10 (M110 Clone) Features

If you’re on the lookout for an M110 but don’t want to take out a second mortgage to afford one, Palmetto State Armory has made a rather faithful clone of the KAC M110 rifle.  While there are many parts that are not true to one of the most highly-sought-after military rifles, they’re close enough that people at the range will be excited to see it.

Palmetto State Armory Sabre-10 (M110 Clone) Capacity

The Sabre-10 is available in 6.5 Creedmoor as well as the tried-and true 7.62x51mm NATO (or as they call it on the moon, .308 Winchester).  This rifle feeds from any and all standard-pattern AR10 magazines giving it a standard capacity of 20 rounds.  5, 10, and 25 round magazines are very easy to find, and the 50-round drum magazines will definitely fit.  The early-production models of this rifle have shown some minor feeding issues that can be fixed by using PMags.
The Sabre-10 has an unloaded weight of 11 pounds and measures 40.5 inches long.  Once a bipod and scope are added, this rifle easily exceeds 13 pounds making it rather difficult to carry over long distances.  The trade-off here is a reduction in felt recoil due to the increased weight.

Palmetto State Armory Sabre-10 (M110 Clone) Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The Sabre-10 takes all of the controls of a modern AR and even includes a far more comfortable pistol grip than the era-accurate A2 example.  This rifle ships with some textured rail covers to save your support hand from getting the cheese-grater treatment and otherwise has all of the expected features of an AR10-pattern rifle that you would expect in an M110 clone.

Palmetto State Armory Sabre-10 (M110 Clone) Fit & Finish

The Sabre-10 is available in anodized black as well as in a desert-tan cerakote.  You can get this rifle with a billet receiver set or a lighter forged receiver set.  The gas block is adjustable allowing you to dial the cycling gas to one specific load or you can adjust it to run suppressed without over-gassing your rifle.
