As with every NAA Mini-Revolver, the hammer need not rest on an empty chamber. Using the original half-way notch cylinder, the hammer may rest safely and securely without chance of accidental discharge. NAA's .22 Magnum can be used with all popular .22 Magnum ammunition, including .22 Magnum shot shells (called Snake Shot by some manufacturers).

North American Arms The Sheriff Capacity
The NAA Sheriff is a 5 shot pocket revolver chambered in 22 Magnum or 22 Magnum/22 Long Rifle depending on version. The cylinder is removed for loading or unloading using a push button latch pin located under the barrel.

The NAA Sheriff is constructed of stainless steel. The 2 ½” octagon barrel has a front sight post installed with the rear sight being a groove machined into the top strap of the frame making the sights fixed. It is a single action only.

The NAA Sheriff is a very compact revolver. Shooters with larger hands may find it difficult to attain the grip they are accustomed to with other revolvers. The grip offers a good grip angle for the size and the negligible recoil of the rimfire cartridges will not be an issue.

The NAA Sheriff is designed for carry where limited options are available. Its small size and lightweight allow several carry options not available for other sidearms.
