Mossberg 464 Spx Capacity
The Lever-Action Mossberg 464 SPX is chambered in .30-30 Winchester and uses a fixed tube magazine that can hold up to 6 rounds. Rounds are loaded into the magazine tube through the loading gate along the right side of the receiver.
Mossberg 464 Spx Feature
The Marlin 464 SPX is a lever-action carbine chambered in .30-30. Its adjustable AR15 style stock allows users to easily adjust the length of pull and cheek weld while its polymer forend rounds out the style and aesthetic of a tactical rifle. Its side-loading capability, however, maintains the classic cowboy action feel that we all love from lever guns.
Mossberg 464 Spx Mobility
The Mossberg 464 SPX weighs 7 pounds unloaded and has a minimum length just under 34 inches. With its added edges from the handguard and telescoping stock, this rifle is as easy to carry through any terrain or environment as a typical AR15.
Mossberg 464 Spx Ergonomics
Once shouldered, the 464 SPX has a very familiar lever-action feel as far as handling goes. Its placement of the adjustable stock ensures a proper cheek weld when looking through the iron sights, though it’s Tapco-inspired grip pattern may give it a feel that fails to give any extra control.
Mossberg 464 Spx Fit-N-Finish
The Mossberg 464 SPX is in a class of its own. Its metal components are all well designed and properly manufactured, and its stock placement is very conducive to effective use of the gun, however the use of a Tapco stock along with its style being added to the grip and handguard really sets the 464 SPX into the “tacticool” category.
