The Micro 9 is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger, 9x19mm NATO) and feeds from a Micro-9 series single-stack magazine with a 6 round capacity. These magazines are all interchangeable across all Kimber Micro 9 models.

Kimber Micro 9 Sapphire Ergonomics
The Micro 9 has 1911 style controls that are scaled down to limit the overall size of the gun and to improve carrying comfort. The nylon grip panels are finely textured to provide a better hold on a grip that can accommodate the middle and ring fingers of most users, and the slide has serrations flanking the rear sight that provide extra control when manually cycling the action.

Granted your shirt is long enough to cover your beltline, the Kimber Micro 9 Sapphire can be concealed almost anywhere without anyone knowing. Though its grip tang sticks out and the hammer is exposed, this pistol can easily be carried in any position granted you have a good holster.

Along with Kimber’s build quality, the Micro 9 Sapphire has a slide and controls that are polished to a mirror finish and are then PVD coated to the striking blue color. The slide includes decorative engraving that is cut via laser for flawless precision. The frame is made of stainless steel and is sandblasted for a smooth, matte finish.
