Kimber Hero Custom Ii Capacity
The Hero Custom II is a 45 ACP pistol that comes with a 7 round magazine. The magazine is inserted through the pistol grip and the magazine release is located on the left side of the frame just behind the trigger guard.

The Hero Custom II’s stainless steel slide features front and rear serrations for racking the slide. The sights are a fiber optic insert front sight with an adjustable V-notch rear sight. The frame is made of stainless steel and incorporates a deep beaver tail to protect the shooter’s hand and offer a secure, deep grip on the pistol. The barrel is of stainless steel and match grade.

The Hero Custom II handles like a 1911 should with natural point of aim and the 38 ounce weight helps tame the recoil for follow up shots. All controls are easily reached with the strong hand for one handed operation. The composite grip scales are textured to offer a safe and secure grip.

The Hero Custom II is a full size pistol, so care must be used in selecting holster, carry position and clothing, especially for warmer temperatures. An Inside the Waist Band (IWB) holster is a good option for carry when concealment is wanted.

The Hero Custom II is a special edition of Kimber’s Custom II line up. It features special engraving to honor US Military members. The frame is coated in desert tan KimPro II coating and the slide is a matte black KimPro II finish, offering an aesthetically appealing two-tone visual.
