The TLE/RL II is chambered in .45 ACP and feeds from all .45 caliber 1911A1 pattern magazines. This gives the pistol a standard magazine capacity of 7 rounds that provides a flush-fit profile while the newer-designed 8 round magazines employ a floor plate that sticks below the frame by about one half of an inch. This Kimber has polished feed ramps and can feed all bullet types as well as +P loads.

The Kimber Custom TLE/RL II is a 1911 pattern pistol that was designed for competition use and accurate target shooting. The steel frame includes an accessory rail for mounting flash lights which helps make it more effective as a defensive tool, and this gun fires from a light and crisp single-action trigger pull. As all 1911’s should be, this pistol has a 5 inch barrel.
Kimber Custom Tle/Rl Ii Ergonomics
This Kimber is set up for right-handed use only and includes an extended safety lever. The controls are identical otherwise to a standard 1911. Since the grip panels can be exchanged for all other Mil-Spec compatible grips, this Kimber can commonly be found with a variety of grip panels. The front and back of the grip are both finely vertically and horizontally checkered to make sure it stays in your hands.
Kimber Custom Tle/Rl Ii Concealability
Measuring 7.8 inches long, 5.5 inches tall and 1.3 inches wide, this Kimber is identical in size to a standard 1911 and is rather difficult to properly conceal. The best way to do it is with a good holster, smart placement, and larger and loose-fitting attire. It would be smart to wear an undershirt as well to prevent the grip safety and exposed hammer from causing discomfort.

If the metal is black, the surfaces are blued, otherwise they’re stainless steel.
