Kel-Tec Ksg Capacity

The Kel-Tec KSG is a pump-action shotgun with 2 magazine tubes under the barrel.  A pivoting paddle blocks off one or both magazine tubes, each being able to hold six 3 inch shells, seven 2-¾ inch shells or twelve mini shells.  With one in the chamber, this gives the user capacities of 13, 15 and 25 rounds, respectively.  Rounds are loaded directly into the magazine tubes through the loading port in the bottom of the receiver behind the grip.  Simply move the blocking switch out of the way and insert the shells into the magazine tube.

Kel-Tec Ksg Ergonomics

The KSG has most of its controls laid out in a way that keeps the user’s hands on the grip and handguard.  The only control that requires a hand to come off of the gun is the magazine selector lever which is located inside the loading port. The handguard includes a picatinny rail along the bottom surface for attaching front grips or highly-recommended hand-stops.

Kel-Tec Ksg Fit-N-Finish

Kel-Tec didn’t use as many polymer components in the design of the KSG, let they still delivered a well-built, lightweight shotgun.  The KSG is available in black, green and tan.  Disassembly is rarely needed as Kel-Tec uses high-quality packing oil that doesn’t need to be removed, and the KSG’s pump action design really only mandates cleaning the barrel regularly.
