Hk Ump45 Capacity
The UMP45, as its name implies, is chambered in .45ACP and feeds from polymer double-stack, double-feed detachable box magazines. The standard capacity of the UMP is 25 rounds, though 10 round magazines exist for the sake of import laws for the HK USC carbine.
Hk Ump45 Feature
The HK UMP45 is a select-fire 2nd generation submachine gun that operates on a direct-blowback action. Its fire controls typically include safe, semi and full-auto but Heckler & Koch can throw in a 2 or 3 round burst function if you have the proper paperwork. The UMP has an 8 inch barrel topped with iron sights and an optics rail and it also has a G36 inspired folding stock.
Hk Ump45 Ergonomics
The UMP45 takes a lot of design inspiration from different guns. Its charging handle, magazine release, pistol grip and safety are based on the MP5, the stock and sights (and its polymer receiver) are based off of the G36, and the bolt release is definitely inspired by the AR15. Every design feature is incredibly modern and the recoil isn’t too snappy.
Hk Ump45 Mobility
With an unloaded weight of only 5.4 pounds, the UMP is incredibly easy to carry over long durations. Its stock can be folded down to a short 17.7 inch overall length to make climbing in and out of vehicles effortless or its stock can be extended for an overall length of 27.2 inches allowing for easy close-quarter navigation.
Hk Ump45 Fit-N-Finish
The HK UMP45 is direct-blowback operated SMG that is made with high-strength polymer receivers. The barrel is designed to take a number of muzzle attachments including suppressors, however the blowback action causes some pressure and cycling issues that reduce the potential effectiveness of a silencer.
