Henry Small Game Carbine Features

The Henry Small Game Carbine is a lever-action rimfire rifle designed for easy and efficient small game hunting, just as the name implies.  It is built with a relatively short barrel for a Henry measuring only 17 inches long, and is topped with a windage-adjustable front sight paired with a rear aperture sight.  This carbine fires from a single-action trigger pull with a hammer that gets reset automatically when the action is cycled.

The Henry Small Game Carbine is chambered in .22LR and is capable of safely cycling and firing .22 Short cartridges.  When loaded with .22LR, it has a capacity of 12 rounds and it can hold 16 rounds of .22 Short.  This carbine is also chambered in .22 Magnum (.22 WMR) and has a capacity of 9 rounds.  Both versions are loaded through the loading port on the underside of the magazine tube a few inches back from the muzzle.

The Henry Small Game Carbine employs all of the classic ergonomics of other Henry rifles including the straight-grip stock and contoured handguard with the addition of a large-loop action lever allowing for easy use with gloved hands.  The rifle is balanced with the center of gravity located approximately half way up along the handguard.

The Henry Small Game Carbine is made with American Walnut sealed with a satin clear coat finish, and has many internal components made of carbon steel that are blued to a deep black finish in order to prevent rusting and corrosion.  The receiver is machined from a single block of steel and features a black finish that prevents damage from weather and wear.
