The HK MR762A1 is chambered in 7.62x51mmNATO (.308 Winchester) and feeds from proprietary double-stack detachable magazines. 10 round mags are available while the standard capacity is 20 rounds. This rifle will NOT accept AR10 pattern magazines.
Hk Mr762A1 Feature
The HK MR762A1 is the civilian version of the HK417 rifle. Chambered in 7.62mmNATO, this semi-automatic AR10-inspired rifle is gas operated and runs on a short-stroke gas piston system and an 8-lug rotating bolt. Its 16.5 inch barrel is surrounded by a free-floating M-Lok handguard that supplements a full-length optics rail.

The HK MR762A1 has the same handling and controls as an AR10 or AR15 with the addition of an ambidextrous safety and charging handle. It is built with an adjustable stock and ergonomic pistol grip to provide the best possible trigger pull.

The HK MR762A1 has an unloaded weight of 9.5 pounds and an overall length from 36 to 39 inches depending on how far out the stock is set. This rifle easily exceeds 12 pounds once a scope and a full magazine are added. Its relatively short length allows for decent performance in close quarter environments.
