Glock 34 Gen 4 Capacity
The Glock 34 is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger, 9x19mm NATO) and feeds from the same magazines as the Glocks 17, 45, 47 and 19X models. This gives the pistol a standard capacity of 17 rounds (or 21 with the 19X magazines) though mags limited to 10 rounds are available. This pistol can also use the extended 32 round box magazines as well as the 50 and 100 round drums.
Glock 34 Gen 4 Feature
The Glock 34 Gen 4 is the largest Glock produced when it comes to size. Built for competition, this pistol has a 5.31 inch barrel in a slide that offers a sight radius a touch longer than 7.5 inches, and that gives a very specific edge to the user who is trying to deliver more accurate fire. The longer barrel also increases the muzzle velocity which can help knock down steel targets with better efficiency.
Glock 34 Gen 4 Ergonomics
The Glock 34 Gen 4 has all of the controls you would expect on a 4th generation Glock. It has an ambidextrous slide release, a reversible magazine release, and slide serrations that flank the rear sight. The grip uses the more modern square texture and has finger grooves. This is all on a full-size grip that is identical in shape and size to the Glock 17.
Glock 34 Gen 4 Concealability
The Glock 34 measures 8.74 inches long and 5.5 inches tall, so concealment is not practical, even in a shoulder holster. This gun was designed for reliability and accuracy as a primary role, so concealability was not on the mind when this gun was being designed. An open-carry holster on your hip or on a competition belt is going to give you the best carrying experience with this gun.
Glock 34 Gen 4 Fit-N-Finish
If it looks like a Glock, feels like a Glock and barks like a Glock, then it’s built like a Glock. The Glock 34 Gen 4 uses standard internal parts and a Glock 17 recoil spring assembly. This was done to have better parts commonality to reduce cost and simplify manufacturing. A lightening cut was added to the slide to balance out the cycling speed since there would otherwise be more mass that would affect slide velocity.
