Dpms Oracle Capacity
The DPMS Oracle is chambered in 7.62x51mmNATO (.308 Winchester) and accepts all AR10 pattern magazines. It has a standard capacity of 20 rounds and magazines are also available with 10 and 25 round capacities. If you’re feeling the freedom, 50 round drum magazines are also available.
Dpms Oracle Feature
The DPMS Oracle is a semi-automatic AR-10 pattern rifle built with a 16 inch barrel and a carbine-length gas system. It uses a carbine-style buffer assembly allowing for an adjustable stock and has an upper receiver topped with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail for mounting scopes.
Dpms Oracle Ergonomics
The DPMS Oracle has identical controls to the Mil-Spec AR10 and AR15. Its employment of a carbine-length gas system sends more gas into the bolt and while this ensures plenty of energy to reliably cycle the action even when it is dirty, it also increases the felt recoil.
Dpms Oracle Mobility
The DPMS Oracle has an unloaded weight of 8.3 pounds and is easily as heavy as 12 pounds by the time optics and accessories are added. Its adjustable 6-position stock allows for overall lengths between 32.5 and 36.5 inches allowing this rifle to be maneuvered through close-quarter environments much more easily than it would be with most bolt action .308 caliber rifles.

The DPMS Oracle is built with the lowest-cost furniture to allow the budget-minded to own a decent AR10 pattern rifle while allowing the new gun owners the option to accessorize and upgrade the rifle to make it their own. Combined, the stock, grip and handguard might cost $20 so if you want to swap them out for better aftermarket options, you can do so without worrying about wasting money.
