Cz Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro Feature
The CZ Scorpion EVO3 S2 Micro is a shortened version of the modern CZ Scorpion that features a 4.12 inch barrel making it much more conducive to close-quarter use. It operates on a direct-blowback action and has a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail that covers the entire receiver and runs the full length of the handguard allowing a variety of optics to be mounted.
Cz Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro Ergonomics
The CZ Scorpion Micro has the same ambidextrous safety, magazine release and swappable charging handle as its older brother. The pistol grip is notably wide and has a very rounded contour along the front and back. The charging handle can be pulled back and rotated up like an MP5 allowing the users to do give it an “HK-slap” at a fraction of the cost.
Cz Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro Mobility
Measuring 13.63 inches long when equipped with the standard backplate and a length as little as 16 inches with an arm brace and an unloaded weight under 5 pounds, this micro Scorpion is among the most mobile pistol caliber carbines on the market. Combining its length and weight with its AR- and AK-inspired controls, its handling in close-quarter environments far supersedes that of the MP5.
Cz Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro Fit-N-Finish
The CZ Scorpion Micro is built on a high-strength polymer receiver set for its upper and lower, and has an aluminum M-LOK handguard. The only notable flaw in the Scorpion’s design is the polymer block that holds the recoil spring onto the guide rod. Without proper care taken on disassembly, that piece can be subjected to stress that can cause a fracture. Luckily, it’s very cheap and easy to replace.
Cz Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro Capacity
Chambered in 9x19mm, the CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro ships with two 20-round magazines. CZ also makes 10 and 30 round magazines for the Scorpion, while aftermarket manufacturers offer 35 and 40 round box magazines and 50 round drum magazines.
