Axtell Rifle Company of Sheridan, Montana 1877 Sharps Custom-Express Model Rifle. 34" part octagonal/part round barrel chambered for the 45 2-4/10" cartridge case (aka: Sharps 45/90). Very few C-Express Rifles were built to fill the demand for a double-set trigger model to compete in NRA sanctioned "Black Powder Cartridge Silhouette".
