The CQB with a 11.5” barrel comes equipped with a one-piece upper receiver. Because it provides full 5.56mm power and accuracy in a very compact sub-machine gun size weapon, the 6943CQB is often chosen over smaller less powerful sub-machine guns. The Colt 11.5" CQB rifle is an improvement over the 11.5" barreled version. The Colt 11.5" barrel has been successfully used in the Mk18 Navy rifle, and with better learning, the 11.5" barrel generally performs better, where an extra inch can be tolerated.
