The Colt Custom Competition is chambered in .45ACP and feeds from a standard 8 round 1911 magazine. The polished feed ramps leading up to the chamber guarantee that all bullet types can be reliably fed.

The Colt Custom Competiton SS is a stainless-steel competition grade full-size 1911. Built with a standard 5 inch “Government Length” barrel topped with fully-adjustable target sights, this pistol was built with a honed and tuned trigger to give the user an edge in competition. This 1911 is built on 80-series prints giving excellent parts commonality in the event you need to replace any parts.
Colt Custom Competition Ss Ergonomics
The Colt Custom Competition is set up with controls for right-handed use. The grip panels have a heavily contoured surface and the front and back of the grip are aggressively textured to provide excellent traction. The slide includes grip serrations on the front and back of the slide to aid the user in manually cycling the action.
Colt Custom Competition Ss Concealability
The Colt Custom Competition matches in overall dimensions to all other full-size 1911’s and is absolutely concealable, however a good holster, smart placement and the right attire are all paramount. Flowing shirts and an undershirt would be of good use with the undershirt protecting your bare skin from abrasions from the grip, grip safety, exposed hammer and rear sight.

The Colt Custom Competition is made entirely from stainless steel aside from some internal springs and the grip panels are made of a laminated nylon polymer. The slide and frame are hand-fit as per tradition and all contacting surfaces are polished for a smooth action
