See DealThe Century Arms International (CAI) C39 RPK is a semi-automatic version of the Soviet designed RPK light machine gun. It was introduced into the U.S. civilian market in 2001 and soon became very popular as it is an affordable, compact, 7.62×39 mm, stamped receiver weapon originally manufactured for use with a high capacity magazine to maintain cyclic automatic fire as depicted on full auto RPK rifles or machine guns. While featuring familiar layout and controls, this rifle differs from the more common

AKM style AK variants by utilizing a unique gas system that taps off some of the gas used to cycle the bolt carrier which results in lower recoil after each shot is fired.

Century Arms C39 Rpk Feature
The Century Arms C39 RPK is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm and has a standard magazine capacity of 30 rounds. It is gas-operated and uses a long-stroke piston and a rotating 2-lug bolt in similar fashion to an M1 Garand. Its cast barrel trunion is topped with a graduated rear sight to adjust elevation for distance while its front sight is windage-adjustable with the proper tool. It also includes a removable bipod attached to the barrel.
Century Arms C39 Rpk Ergonomics
The C39 RPK is a faithful copy of the original Russian RPK in its handling and controls. Its charging handle is attached to the side of the bolt carrier on the right side and can easily be grabbed with gloves on. The safety is located along the right side of the receiver and acts as a dust cover when set to “safe”. The enlarged stock provides some added weight to reduce felt recoil while also offering another gripping point when firing with the bipod deployed.
Century Arms C39 Rpk Mobility
The C39 RPK weighs 8.5 pounds unloaded and measures approximately 39 inches long. This rifle is relatively easy to carry over long distances though its added length can inhibit the ease of use within close-quarters environments. The folding bipod adds stability when shooting from a supported position but can easily get caught on foliage or other objects.
Century Arms C39 Rpk Fit-N-Finish
The C39 RPK is manufactured and built at the Cigur Arms factory in Romania and is imported by Century Arms. In order to comply with 922(r) regulations, the magazine well is enlarged and the trigger and its components are US-made. The barrel trunion is cast and sits inside of a milled receiver.
Century Arms C39 Rpk Capacity
The Century Arms C39 RPK is chambered in 7.62x39mm and accepts standard AKM pattern magazines. Standard magazine capacity of the RPK is 30 rounds while other box magazines include 10 and 45 round capacities. 75 Round drum magazines are also available.
