Browning Hi-Power Mark Iii Capacity

The Hi-Power is available in both 9mm and .40 S&W and feeds from the same magazines as the legacy models.  This gives the pistol a standard magazine capacity of 10 rounds in both calibers.

Browning Hi-Power Mark Iii Feature

The Browning Hi-Power Mark III is a new-production version of the legendary Hi-Power that John Browning himself declared was a better design than the 1911.  Using the same short-recoil action with a tilting 4.63 inch barrel and being made of parts built on the original prints, the Mark III delivers the classic performance with higher reliability and better materials science.

Browning Hi-Power Mark Iii Ergonomics

The controls and contours of the Mark III are identical to the original Hi-Power with the added benefit of an ambidextrous safety.  Instead of wood, the grip panels are made of polymer which offer a checkering pattern that is much more resilient against wear from common use.  This pistol has a slightly more vertical grip angle that can cause a learning curve to new users.

Browning Hi-Power Mark Iii Concealability

Surprisingly, the Browning Hi Power is slightly larger than the 1911, though concealment is definitely possible.  All you need is a good holster, slightly larger clothing, and proper holster placement.  The only drawback to packing this around is its exposed hammer that can cause some discomfort in certain positions.

Browning Hi-Power Mark Iii Fit-N-Finish

The Mark III is built on a steel frame and is manufactured on the same specs as the original, so it actually has parts compatibility!  Thanks to advancements in manufacturing, these pistols are heat treated to a harder strength which promotes reliability and increases parts durability.
