Bond Arms Bullpup 9 Features

The Bond Arms Bullpup 9 is an aluminum-frame, semi-automatic pistol with a very unique operating system.  Operating on a rotating-barrel action, this double-action pistol actually has a bullpup layout that allows for a 3.35 inch barrel in an overall length that is significantly shorter than other pistols.  The slide is topped with windage-adjustable sights.

Bond Arms Bullpup 9 Capacity

The Bullpup 9 is chambered, as its name implies, in 9mm Parabellum and feeds from a 7-round single-stack magazine.  This gun is truly unique in that rounds are extracted from the magazine with a dual-claw extractor out of the back where they are lifted up to the chamber instead of having the bolt push a round forward up a feed ramp.

Bond Arms Bullpup 9 Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The Bullpup 9 has very typical controls for a double-action pocket pistol and has slide serrations flanking the rear sight to offer plenty of grip when manually cycling the action.  The recoil impulse is relatively soft due to the aluminum frame, though the trigger is a bit on the heavy side.  The front of the grip has lateral grooves and the grip panels have a scaled checkering under a satin-smooth wood finish.

Bond Arms Bullpup 9 Fit & Finish

The Bullpup 9 has an aluminum frame that is type-3 hard anodize coated to prevent corrosion and other environmental damage and has a stainless steel barrel and slide that keep the gun from rusting.  The grips are made of Cocobolo for the tight grain structure and are expertly sanded down to a smooth finish before receiving a matte clear coat to make the grips last.

Fit and Finish

Bond Arms Bullpup 9 Concealability

Concealability
The Bullpup 9 was designed for concealment, and it excels in that department.  This gun can easily be tucked away in a pocket, under a belt, and even in an ankle holster as a back-up piece.  This is due to the bullpup design that allows the gun to measure almost two inches shorter than traditional 9mm pistols.
