Beretta PMX Features

The Beretta PMX is available to civilians as the PMXs in semi-auto while both versions operate on a direct-blowback action.  The 6.9 inch barrel sports a ½-28UNEF-2B thread allowing for the attachment of muzzle devices and suppressors with no gunsmithing required, and the rear of the receivers is set up to accept a quick-detach sling as well as a folding stock.  The top of the receiver features a full-length optics rail with enough space to hold some backup iron sights, a reasonable optics setup and a pressure pad for a light or laser.

Beretta PMX Capacity

The Beretta PMX is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum and feeds from a 20 or 30 round double-stack, double feed magazines that were specifically designed for this gun.  The PMX’s bolt is balanced for firing standard velocity as well as subsonic rounds whether it is being run suppressed or unsuppressed with dependable reliability.

The PMX has an unloaded weight of 5.5 pounds and measures only 16.4 inches long in its shortest configuration making it an excellent candidate for the close-quarter environments of home defense and competition shooting while being light enough to toss into a hiking pack in the event you want a controllable weapon on your next camping trip.

Beretta PMX Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The PMX has a very familiar control setup that includes an AR15-inspired grip, safety and trigger setup, it has an ambidextrous magazine release, and has a charging handle mounted on the left side of the receiver.  The front of the gun offers a short picatinny-style quad rail with side rails that can be removed if desired giving it a feel very much like the ARX-100.  The front rail can be equipped with a vertical front grip as soon as the ATF paperwork is approved turning it into an AOW or SBR.

Beretta PMX Fit & Finish

The Beretta PMX is built on a high-strength polymer receiver set to balance weight, accuracy and durability in the firearm.  The steel components are blued in order to retain oil and prevent rust, and the magazines are made of a translucent polymer so you can see how many rounds are left in your mags.
