Beretta M9A1 Capacity
The Beretta M9A1 is chambered in 9x19mm and uses double-stack, single-feed detachable magazines. Standard magazines are 15 rounds with 10-round magazines available in states with magazine restrictions while aftermarket magazine makers offer a 32 round capacity.
Beretta M9A1 Feature
The Beretta M9A1 is a derivative of the Beretta 92F and an evolution of the Beretta M9. The M9A1 features a slide-mounted safety in its open-top slide that shows off its 4.9 inch barrel. It uses the same double-action / single-action trigger and 15 round magazine as the M9, but differs in its addition of an accessory rail to mount lasers and weapon lights.
Beretta M9A1 Ergonomics
The Beretta M9A1 has identical ergonomics and controls to the original M9 pistol. It uses the same DA/SA trigger, and the slide-mounted safety remains ambidextrous. The only difference is a slight change in balance due to the material added on the frame to include a rail for mounting lasers and weapon lights.
Beretta M9A1 Concealability
The Beretta M9A1 is a large, full-sized pistol and would be very difficult to carry concealed without heavy attire. Designed as a duty pistol and military sidearm, this gun is best carried along a duty belt or in other open-carry settings.
Beretta M9A1 Fit-N-Finish
The Beretta M9A1 is built like a tank and can stand up to just about any abuse thrown at it. The finish on its metal components is very durable against long-term wear, and the design allows it to still function reliably even with heavy wear.
